White-crowned Sparrow

Brendan's deep love for wildlife and photography are paired with his passion for education and conservation in 60-120 minute interactive presentations. Ideal for schools, retirement homes or any group looking for a fun, collaborative event focused on our natural environment.
Through a slide show and a few physical props, we explore the world of local Ontario wildlife. We explore truly awe-inspiring animals, like our various owl species, and diving into truly remarkable adaptations of other birds like the Osprey or even the overlooked American Robin. Additionally, we will visit our amphibian and reptile species, like our slithery snakes that play a vital role in our local ecosystem. We also touch on various mammals and insects.
With such magnetic enthusiasm for the subject, Brendan is sure to connect with kids, have a laugh and keep them engaged for the duration of the program. A tie-in to our incredible local plants and trees is made throughout the presentation, focusing on the relationship between the two and the need to return native plants to our yards and our properties. The presentation culminates in a gift for everyone attending, leaving with a better understanding of our forests and fields and the wildlife that call them home.
Cost: Presentations may have variations in cost based on travel time from Belleville, ON, or further specifics or other requests, but in general, school presentations and the like are $350 plus HST. Reach out for a formal quote.
