Tree Planting
The anchor of the business and how we can improve our landscapes, one tree at a time, by planting them! We plant large trees, small trees, a few trees, many trees, and everything in between. Our most used service is planting large saplings, anywhere from 6' to 12' tall, usually purchased from a local nursery. We want to evaluate your site, your soil, the location and the tree and help you get it in the ground so you can enjoy the shade, the wildlife, the fruit and the landscaping as soon as possible.

Planting a Potted Sapling
This is our most common service, planting a recently purchased potted sapling. These trees are most often in a large plastic pot (10 Gallons or larger), or a burlap ball. We can transport these from the nursery to your home and then plant on site. This is common for new builds, orchards, landscaping, or simply bringing new life to your yard. A sapling is generally anywhere from 5' to 6' tall, all the way to roughly 12' tall.
Trees of this size sometimes require more care before planting to ensure they don't become root-bound after planting, effectively strangling themselves, due to their long growing life within an established pot.

Planting Seedlings
Seedlings are generally very young trees, anywhere from 1 to 3 years old, and don't exceed roughly 4' in height (generally between 1 and 3'). They have very narrow stems/trunks and still have a lot of growing to do before they would generally be seen as a 'tree.'
These tree's are much more cost effective to purchase, but will take a few years to get to the same size as the saplings.
A benefit here is that their roots aren't as established and they have a better chance to acclimatize to your local soil and adapt before growing larger, avoiding shock and a self-damaging root ball.
These are priced on bulk purposes, as generally more than a few of these are being planted at one time.
